On Saturday October 27 the Tactical Tech Tomato Turtles are coming to the Wescott Library to demonstrate their robots as well as educate the public on what FTC (First Tech Challenge) is about. Some of the robots that will be shown and demonstrated include various FLL(First Lego League) robots as well as our official FTC robot.
FLL is a program to allow kids to build a functional Lego robot as well as research and present a topic. FTC is a more sophisticated program in which you use metal and wires to create a more advanced robot capable of doing many things. Ounce teams are finished with their robot they will then go to a tournament and compete against other teams. The purpose of these two programs are to educate kids in STEM and science.
The Tactical Tech Tomato Turtles hope that you can make it to this fun event and we guarantee that your kids will learn a lot as well as have a lot of fun. They will even get a chance to drive the FLL robot.
