On Friday November 24th we did a tour of the Richfield Water Plant. We did the tour with the plant manager Mike Petersen. We learned a lot about how water is cleaned and what safety precautions they take. Our favorite safety precaution was the lock that they place on the machines so that they can work on equipment without the worry of anybody accidentally turning it off. We had lots of fun in the workshop of the plant. It was most definitely our favorite place.
