More Mentoring With DI Team

This week on Sunday we hung out with a 3rd grade DI team and talked about their STEM activities. We also had some members of the team who had done DI in the past and we asked them about other aspects of DI. If none of you are familiar with DI it is an abbreviation for Destination Imagination. There are two parts to DI. In every category there is a challenge that teams must do and it must be part of a skit. There is also an Instant Challenge that is kept secret and tests teamwork and communication. Their challenge was to fly a drone across the field and drop their items there. We helped them figure out how they would drop their items without touching the drone. It was a fun experience and a great outreach!
